Striker Fred Kyambadde has been destined to transfer to Rwanda Premier League side Kiyovu Football Club.

At the 11th hour, the deal fell through as the forward returned to Uganda for a new lease of life.

On the Uganda transfer deadline day, Kyambadde agreed terms with Jinja based BUL football club for a one year employment contract.

“I am happy to be back in Uganda. I signed with Bul Football Club. I am looking forward a successful season,” Kyambadde told Kawowo Sports.

He has previously played at UCU, The Saints, Wandegeya and lately Sadolin Paints.

If passed fit, Kyambadde is most likely to play in the anticipated epic Jinja derby between BUL and Kirinya-Jinja S.S this Saturday alongside forwards Patrick ‘Crespo’ Asiku and Daniel Shabena.

BUL is yet to win a league match with a home goalless draw against league debutants Mbarara City on the opening day of the season before losing out 1-0 to Vipers at the St Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
