UPDF outwitted Express Football Club 1-0 during match day three of the Uganda Premier League at the Bombo Military stadium on Saturday.

Ezekiel Katende scored the lone strike of the game two minutes into the second half.

This was the first victory of the season for the army side coached by Moses Basena, also the Uganda Cranes’ head coach.

For Express, this was their second successive loss on the road following their 1-0 loss to Mbarara at the Kakyeka stadium.

The victory drives UPDF to 6th on the log with 4 points.
