There will surely be a new winner in the 2017 CAF Champions League.
This follows the elimination of the reigning champions, Mamelodi Sundowns by Morocco’s Wydad Casablanca in a tense penalty shoot out.
The Moroccoan champions won 1-0 on the day courtesy of Salahedin Saidi’s 20th minute free header at the back post to tie the game one all on aggregate.
Uganda Cranes captain Dennis Onyango was at his best with saves, taking the game to penalties.
After normal time, Wydad scored 3 penalties to the visitors’ 2 with Onyango saving one shot for the Brazilians.
