Proline approach their fourth game of the campaign seeking to secure their first victory of the season in the Uganda Premier League
The side remains one of the five sides in the league yet to see victory this term. Last Friday, Proline were overwhelmed by a brilliant Police side that sent them bottom of the table with a 2-0 victory at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
That defeat followed a 1-0 home loss to league debutants Masavu a fortnight ago and a barren draw against Onduparaka in their opening game of the season.
Three games into the new campaign and Proline who lost their top scorer last season Nelson Senkatuka to Bright Stars haven’t found their first goal yet.
Mujib Kasule is optimistic goals will come, but he may want to find a solution to that as soon as possible. It is too early to draw any kind of conclusion, but the other two teams – Maroons and Express – that haven’t seen the back of the net this term occupy the other two dreaded positions in the league.
Kasule will be hopeful their first goal arrives tomorrow when Soana makes appearance at Lugogo Stadium. He will hope his boys foil Soana’s attacking plans, while making sure their attacks count.
The Kavumba side has conceded two goals, but they have also netted twice this season. Their first goal came in their 1-1 draw against Bright Stars at the Champions Stadium, and the second was the winning goal against Masavu last Tuesday.
Soana sit eighth in the league with four points.
