Power has drawn Kenya Ports Authority in the group stage of the Zone V Clubs championship that gets underway Sunday October 1, 2017 in Kampala.

Power were placed in the same pool with the Kenyan giants in a draw held Saturday evening at City Oil, Kamwokya.

The two sides are placed in Group B with Ethiopian outfit Gondar City and Tanzanian side ABC.

Hosts City Oilers are placed in Group A with Rwandan giants Patriots, Hawassa City and Savio.

The Zone V championship will tip off Sunday at the Lugogo Indoor Stadium.

City Oilers are the defending champions having defeated Ulinzi last year in Dar es Salaam.

For the second year running, there will be no Egyptian opposition at the Zone V championship.

Group A: City Oilers, Hawassa City, Savio and Patriots

Group B: Betway Power, Gondar City, ABC and KPA
