UPDF junior team maintained their unbeaten run in the FUFA Juniors League with a convincing 3-0 victory over Maroons FC JT on Sunday at Luzira Prisons grounds.

In a game that UPDF dominated, Stuart Aaron Mutebi struck first in the first half to give his side the deserved lead before Arafat extending the lead through a free kick shortly after the break.

Mutebi then sealed the deserved three points when he converted the penalty in the evening of the game to ensure his side preserve their unbeaten run in the league, while taking his tally this season to five  goals making him the second top scorer in the league.

Victory kept the UPDF team second in the Treble group. They are one point adrift of table toppers Onduparaka who lead with 12 points.

Elsewhere, Police Armless Brigade drew 2-2 with Kirinya-Jinja SSS JT, while Vipers SC JT beat SC Villa Jogoo JT 2-0, with Sula Mpanga and Benjamin Nazar scoring for Vipers.

Bright stars FC JT, Mbarara City FC JT ended 2-2, while Proline SA thumped Express FC JT 4-2 and Masavu FC JT edged Soana 3-2 in the Hat trick group to stay second.
