- Express FC 1-0 URA

Daniel ‘Mzee’ Sserunkuma scored the winner as Express FC sunk URA 1-0 at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
In a dull game played on a chilly afternoon, the Tax Collectors were the better side for most of the game but were lethargic in front of goal.
URA were forced to make an early change with Said Kyeyune limping off for Shafik Kagimu.
At the half time mark, the hosts won a free kick inside the opponents’ half, Sulaimon Jjingo floated the ball into the area finding Bernard Agele.
The defender headed across goal to find an unmarked Mubarak Nsubuga whose low shot was parried into the path of Sserunkuma who tapped home from close range.
In the second half, the visitors piled more pressure and often came close with Henry Kisekka hitting the base of the post whilst Peter Lwasa and Abdulrahman Ajab shot wide from inside the 16 yard area.
Despite the visitors’ dominant display, the six-time held on for their second successive win of the campaign which takes them to 7 points while URA remains with five points.
The Red Eagles are now fourth on the log while the Tax Collectors drop to 11th.
