Nelson Ssenkatuka winner at the stroke of half time earned Bright Stars their first ever league win over URA on Tuesday.
Going into the game on Tuesday, the previous eight league meetings had ended with three wins for the Tax Collectors with the rest being stalemates.
In a tightly contested game at Matugga, the former Proline and KCCA striker got on the score sheet with a good goal two minutes to the break.
The goal, his fourth of the campaign in seven league games so far was enough as no team was able to net in the second half.
The win lifts Fred Kajoba’s side to 6th on the log with 10 points, same as 4th and 5th placed KCCA and Police respectively but the Matugga based side have an inferior goal difference.
