Daniel Opolot Isiagi netted twice as Proline made it three wins in three at home with a 4-2 thumping of visiting side UPDF on Saturday.

Opolot opened the scoring in the 34th minute but Isa Mubiru replied for the visitors seconds to recess to send the two sides into half time level.

Shortly after the break, Proline won a penalty, and David Owori reinstated the lead, and although Julius Malingumu restored parity with his first of the campaign in the 72nd minute.

Opolot was not done yet as he ensured the hosts reclaim the driving seat three minutes later.

Fahad Bayo then scored the fourth to extend the lead and UPDF who have lost all their games on the road couldn’t do any more replies.

Defender Savio Kabugo’s red card arrived late in the game to aid the Bombo outfit secure any kind of a comeback.

It was a result that left the army side rooted in the bottom three and one that prolongs their wait for an away win in the Uganda Premier League this season.

The three points lifted Mujib Kasule’s team to the seventh position level on points [10] with the reigning champions KCCA who are seated a place above.
