Elvis “Zlatan” Kiberu scored five goals during Entebbe Football Club’s 10-0 victory over Lufuka at the Fisheries Training Institute playground in Entebbe.

This was during one of the eleven Buganda Regional League games played on Sunday.

Kiberu single handed led the rout with 5 goals in the Katonga Group fixture. Hussein Abdul and Lawrence Bajja added the other with 4 and one goal respectively.

This was Entebbe’s first victory of the season after suffering three successive losses under former coach, Richard Pinto Tamale Kiwanuka.

The massive win elevated Mutwalibu Wamala’s coached side to 9th on the 13 team log.

In the other matches, Nyendo Diamonds played to a 1-1 draw with table leaders Buwambo United in Masaka.

Kasenge pipped Nangabo Green Valley 1-0 as Kiboga United played  to a goal-less away draw with Masaka Municipal in Masaka.

In the Ssezibwa Group, Free Stars overcame Kiwanga United 1-0, Uganda Martyrs humbled Azam 2-0 and Busula were 1-0 winners over visiting Kampala University.

Meanwhile, Zirobwe Young edged Seeta United 1-0 as Luweero United and Lugazi Nabugabo played to a goal-less stalemate.

The league will resume on Wednesday, 1st November 2017 with one game. Kikyusa Cream hosts Africa Polysack.
