Hood Kaweesa scored the winning goal as Police FC beat UPDF in the battle of forces to reclaim top spot .
The striker scored after 17 minutes at Bombo Barracks to earn the visitors maximum points against struggling hosts who stay second from bottom.
The Cops number 5 got at the end of a well chipped pass to slot past Harrison Sempagi in UPDF goal.
Earlier, the forward who now leads the goal scoring charts with four goals in eight games had come close after beating the back line but shot wide.

The second half was better for the hosts who had former SC Villa tactician Steven Bogere improved and should have equalised.
Veteran centre forward Godfrey Wakaza who had replaced Julius Malingumu after recess should have scored but twice missed from close range as he took long to make a decision .
The hosts were better for most parts of the game but Abdallah Mubiru charges also had chances of their own wasted through Ben Ocen and Yasin Mugume among others.
The win takes Police point tally to 16 points and back on top with two more points than second placed Onduparaka .
It was the first away win for the 2005 champions after getting board room point against Masavu .
