Proline boss Mujib Kasule claims their terrible form away from home this season has been a result of ‘playing on bad pitches’.
Proline have seen their four attempts to secure a win on their travels go pear-shaped, and their latest defeat was on Tuesday against Maroons.
Sidney Chika netted the lone goal of the game to condemn Proline to their third successive defeat on the road, and Kasule, whose side has managed to score just once away from home this term, has put the blame on the playing grounds.
“We have to work on our away form, definitely it’s not good,” Kasule said. “We are struggling to play on the bad pitches. But if we are to score points in this league, we need to get acclimatized to the bad pitches.
“We can not only play good football at home, we need to do our best to make sure that we play good football away from home or find a strategy to use on such pitches.”
The defeat was Proline’s fourth this campaign and dropped them to ninth.
Next up for the side is a Lugogo derby against champions KCCA on Tuesday.
