Soana registered their first away win in the Uganda Premier League this season with a 1-0 victory over Kirinya-Jinja SSS on Saturday.
Allan Kayiwa netted the lone goal of the game, and for the first time this term, the Kavumba side was winning away from home.
Soana had failed to win on the road in four attempts, but their performance in their previous away game, that ended 1-1 at Vipers, suggested that victory was just around the corner, and it sure arrived on Saturday.
A vital win it was as it lifts the side that now has two wins to their name above the relegation zone.
