Olila High piled more misery on Tornado B after defeating them by 7 wickets in Jinja.

Defending champions Tornado B have failed to win a single game in the league after losing all there 3 games so far which puts them in a dangerous position of relegation.

Coach Jackson Ogwang lamented the un-seriousness of his side

“The girls expect to win without showing up for training. Most of the girls only turn up on match day but never for training.

“We are now in a serious spot of bother, if we don’t win our next game and other results go our way we shall be out of the league.”

A poor performance with the bat saw Tornado B only manage 58 all out Joyce Mary Apio leading from front with 3 wickets for only 7 runs.

Former Tornado B player Rachel Ntono then combined with Damalie Busingye to knock off the deficit in under 10 overs.

Felix Musana manager of Olila High credited the win to a properly executed plan by the team.

Our bowling won the game. Joyce Mary was sensational both with the ball and in the field and was involved in 6 dismissals in the day. She was ably backed by Gloria the off spinner and Acan Racheal 2 keep the score in check.

Once we limited them to less than 60, it was always about getting to the target as quickly as possible regardless of the wickets lost to allow us improve our net run rate that may be decisive come the last day of the league since 4 teams are all in the running.

We can now aim to win the league and out the 4 teams with a chance Wanderers is the biggest threat since our game is similar in style.

Olila now join KICC, Jinja SS and Wanderers with 2 wins each. However, only KICC has played 2 games but the rest have played 3 each. All the four teams have a chance of winning the league title.
