After a successful trip to Jinja where they picked up two wins, Charity will be looking to seal a knock out place with a couple of wins this weekend.

They will face a relatively easy opponent in Nile but will have to dig deep to overcome KICC. KICC have made the finals of the T20 twice in the last 3 years and will not be a push over.

Hanumant Kathkar leads a team full of T20 specialists who are yet to face test, the only practice they have gotten is in bowling but their batsmen have hardly gotten a challenge.

Charity mixed grit and class in picking up the wins in Jinja having to bowl skillfully in the win over JACC after posting a low total and then a batting master class from Simon Ssesazi easily saw off Jinja SS.

Team mentor Innocent Ndawula underlines the importance of the weekend encounters;

“We have a full team this weekend and therefore our Captain will be spoilt for choice. Our stylish wicket keeper Ashraf Ssenkubuge missed out last weekend because of exams but he will be available including Ronald Opio who could only play one game last Sunday.”

“We cant afford anymore losses after losing to ACC so we are coming guns blazing for KICC which is the tough match. It’s T20 and we shall let our kids express themselves. We must win both games,” Ndawula told Kawowo Sports.

They will need more class against KICC who have some fine players in Frank Nsubuga, Davis Karashani, Zephaniah Arinaitwe and the on form Arthur Ziraba. KICC hasn’t lost a game in this year’s T20 league and will be a very tough customer for Charity.

Charity had a false start losing the odd game to ACC and for them to make the knock outs they cant afford to drop more points.

The youthful side will be counting on Simon Ssesazi, Stephen Wambose, Jonathan Ssebanja and team mentor Innocent Ndawula who has been on form with the ball.
