The annual mini cricket schools tournament comes to an end on Friday at Lugogo.

The annual event attracts all regional winners from all over the country for a final climax.
The District mini cricket festivals were rolled out early this year in a total of 18 districts with 142 primary schools participating and the winners took part in the regional festivals which concluded last week in Mbarara.
A total of 23 schools will be competing for the main prize drawn from 5 regions namely Central, Eastern, Northern, Western and Nile Region.
The event has both boys and girls competing in the categories of U11 and U13.
Mini cricket which is played with a soft ball is for children in Primary school and has produced future national team players like Davis Karashani (Lohana Kampala), Arthur Kyobe (Magwa Primary Jinja) and Charles Waiswa (Magwa Primary School Jinja).
Action starts at 9am and will end at 4pm.
