Council of East and Central Africa (CECAFA) Senior Challenge Cup record winners Uganda Cranes will lock horns with guest nation, Zimbabwe in the up coming tournament.
This development was confirmed after the draws for Africa’s oldest tournament held on Thursday in Nairobi by the long serving General Secretary, Nicholas Musonye.

Uganda is in group B alongside Zimbabwe, Burundi, Ethiopia and South Sudan.
Hosts Kenya will face Rwanda, Tanzania and Zanzibar in the two weeks’ tourney.
With 14 titles, Uganda Cranes is the most successful team in the region.
The tournament kicks off on the 3rd December and will roll until 17th December 2017 in Kenya.
The confirmed venues are Kakamega, Kisumu and Nakuru. Kasarani and Machakos have been put on stand by just in case the rest of the venues are not ready by kick off.

- Group B: Uganda, Zimbabwe, Burundi, Ethiopia, South Sudan
