In just his second game at KCCA, sharp forward Muhammed Shaban struck a phenomenal hat trick in the champions’ 4-0 victory against Soana at Kavumba Recreational Stadium on Saturday.
Following his controversial transfer from Onduparaka, Shaban once again proved his worth with three goals for KCCA to add his personal tally to 4 in two matches.
Shaban scored in the 42nd, 67th and 89th minutes as Derrick Nsibambi got the other 19 minutes to full time.
Half time of the game had ended with the Kasasiro boys leading 1-0.
For the exceptional performance, he was named man of the match.
This was the 5th victory for the 12-time Uganda Premier League winners, who are on course for a hat-trick of successive titles.
Soana suffered their 4th loss of the season, which leaves them 11th with 13 points.
KCCA keeps pace with leaders, Police who won 2-1 against URA at Namboole.
Police leads the 16 team log with 20 points from 11 games, one point ahead of KCCA and SC Villa.
The trio of KCCA, SC Villa and Onduparaka closely follow with 19 points apiece.
