ACC condemned both Jinja sides to loses defeating JACC by 37 runs in the morning and Jinja SSS by 32 runs in the afternoon.
Africa Cricket Club were untroubled in both games with the home sides with near identical teams scores JACC (119) and Jinja SSS (117).
On return to his home ground Robert Okot (52) scored a half century against JACC and a handy 39 in the afternoon game against Jinja SSS. He was supported by other Jinja home boys Trevor Kapere (35) in the game against Jinja SSS and Yusuf Nanga (32) in the game against JACC.
The win over Jinja SSS was a some form of small satisfaction for Africa Cricket Club coming off a team that denied them a chance of promotion to Division 1 after they were no a show on the final day.
After surviving the Jinja test, ACC need to focus on the quarterfinals where they will face superior teams from Group A because Group B has been relatively easy.
