
Arthur Kyobe carried his bat on his way to scoring a team high 73 not out off 64 balls.
Kyobe opened batting with Hamu Kayondo (67) who was the most explosive of the pair and together they put on 123 till Kayonda fell. He was caught at Long on going for maximum.
With the loss of his partner, Kyobe switched gears quickly scoring through the 20s to reach is 1st fifty in the T20 league. The big left hander has been in form for Challengers anchoring most of their innings while the other power hitters bat around him.
Challengers was able to post an imposing 183/2 with Kyobe carrying his bat and with the bowling attack of Challengers, Premier could only limit margin of win.
In the end they managed to bat out their full 20 overs managing to score only 83 for the lose of 6 wickets.
The defending champions are now assured of a place in the quarterfinals but they have a big group game against Damani on December 3 which could act as a final before a final.
