Proline put a halt to KCCA’s winning run with a 2-1 defeat at Lugogo on Friday.
Daniel Isiagi, fresh from trials at French side Nantes was the hero for the hosts, netting a brace before Paul Mucureezi pulled a goal back for the champions.
Proline came into the game on the back of four games without a win while KCCA had registered four successive victories.
Isiagi put Mujib Kasule’s side in the lead inside 16 minutes as the Kasasiro went behind for the first time this season at Lugogo.
The big forward doubled the lead in the 61st minute to make the points safe before Mucureezi scored from the spot in the second minute of additional time.
The win lifts Proline to 10th on the log with 14 points while KCCA drop to 3rd with 22 points, three adrift of new log leaders SC Villa who won 1-0 against rivals Express in Masaka.
