Buddo Oval
WANDERERS CC VS AVENGERS CC – 9:30AM
WANDERERS CC VS PREMIER CC – 3:00PM
Wanderers have nothing in the win column for the on going t20 league and when they face Avengers and Premier they will be looking to change this.
The withdrawal of Mwiri and suspension of SKLPS left egg on the face of Wanderers who were looking forward to the derby with Mwiri but also a relatively easy game against SKLPS.
They will face an unpredictable Avengers team that beat Strikers but lost to Kampala Pirates last weekend.
The game on a small Buddo pitch can be challenging given the big hitters in Avengers therefore Denis Musali and his troops have to bowl and field very well.
They will face Div 2 champions Premier in the afternoon in an encounter that was won by Wanderers the last time they met in the league.
Premier are more in need of the win to keep up with Kampala Pirates and Strikers with whom they are competing with for a quarterfinal place as the 4th placed team.
Premier suffered a 100 run loss last weekend at the hands of defending champions Challengers but they will fancy their chances against Wanderers.
Wanderers will be without all rounder Nirav Hathi who is out of the country and the big off spinner Abii Norbert who has family commitments but they have Taha Ahmed back who has missed most of the season while away on compassionate leave in India.
The opening bowling pair of David Kateyenge and Zubair Tembo will be key in making early in roads to make sure Wanderers can limit its opponents to small totals.
After these 2 games Wanderers will face Challengers in its final game of a an average season.
