The men national beach soccer league returns with 5 games on Sunday at Lido beach in Entebbe.

Monsoon group current table leaders Isabeti faces relegation threatened MS Sand Lions.

Isabeti who fell in their immediate last game to Nkumba University would wish to make quick amends against the Sand Lions, a side that has struggled to pick decent results in the recent previous match days.

Roch Somoka, the second best top scorer with 14 goals in the league will be main man the Isa Assimwe and Moses Lukyamuzi will look unto for inspiration.

On and off Swaibu Kakawaya and Rica Byaruhanga are other players of substance for Isabeti.

“We shall bounce back from the derby loss. All the players are fit enough for the job task on Sunday” Assimwe told Kawowo Sports.

In the Hurriken group, YMCA has a chance to close gap on the run away leaders St Lawrence University when they face Kyadondo Galaticals.

During the last match day, the Galaticals fell 6-3 to St Lawrence University.

St Lawrence University leads with 12 points as Kyadondo Galaticals and YMCA both follow with 6 points apiece.

MUBS plays Buganda Royal University as Stormer host Mutoola beach in the other matches.

Meanwhile, the women will also have a variety of games on the menu.

Muteesa 1 Royal University has two matches on the day. First, against 7th placed Talented and then against KJT Ladies.

Victories in the two matches will see Muteesa 1 Royal University afloat the summit.

Sharon Namatovu, who has so far scored four goals for Muteesa will be the main player to watch.

Alphoenix Golden Girls takes on Nkumba University in the other match.

In some of the other matches, Entebbe Ladies has a derby affair against Nkumba University, Katuuso Community will play Entebbe Ladies and Buganda Royal University has affairs to solve against Talented Ladies.

There are nine women clubs that feature in the national beach soccer league.

In total, six games will be played for the women on Sunday at Lido Beach in Entebbe.
