The striker found both goals in the first half, and he took his tally this season to six goals, making him the joint second top scorer in top flight.
Proline continued with their fine form at home and have now scored 13 home goals. All the side’s five wins this term have come from Lugogo, and their latest victory lifts them a place up to ninth, and it increases the point gap between them and the red line to six.
Bright Stars’ inform striker Nelson Senkatuka was unable to hurt his former club and Fred Kajoba’s men suffered their third defeat of the season.
Senkatuka scored at the death as the Stars salvaged a point against struggling side Masavu in their previous games, but he couldn’t do a thing on Tuesday and witnessed his team become Proline’s latest victim.
With URA edging Vipers 2-1, the loss drops Bright Stars a place down to seventh.
The league takes a break, and returns on December 19. Bright Stars will host Police on that day while Proline will travel to Masaka to meet table leaders SC Villa.
