The national beach soccer league takes center stage once with round of 6 games at Lido Beach in Entebbe on Sunday, 3rd December 2017.

Hurriken group leaders Isabet looks forward consolidating grip at the summit of the table standings as they face off form MS Sand Lions.

After falling in their last game to rivals Nkumba University, Isabet wish not to suffer any slip up.

Led by the temperamental captain, Roch Somoka, Isabeti remains the team to beat on the sand given the quality of players at their disposal.

With defender Lawrence Bakiranze, towering Rica Byaruhanga and the robust diminutive forward Swaibu Kakwaya, Isa Assimwe’s charges are indeed a team of class.

MS Sand Lions also has another match on the menu against MUBS.

MUBS suffered their second walk over of the season when they failed to honour a league engagement on match day 5.

Emmanuel Amagu’s coached Nkumba University will take on Stormers in another game.

Elsewhere, in the Moonson group, unbeaten St Lawrence University inspired by Soana Football Club forward Emmanuel Kalyowa targets maintaining the winning streak as they entertain Talented.

Buganda Royal plays another struggling side Mutoola beach as YMCA will face Kampala International University (KIU) in the very last game on the day.

Meanwhile, there are 7 games that are lined up for the women on the day.

Log leaders Ajax Queens will play Buganda Royal University in one of the most eagerly awaited games.

Muteesa I Royal University has two games lined up.

First, they take on Talented, before facing Mansoor Kabugo’s KJT as Ajax Queens have a date with Alphoenix Girls.

Rogers Nkugwa’s coached Katuuso Community will face home side Entebbe Ladies and Buganda Royal will encounter Talented.

The last match for the women will be between Entebbe Ladies against Muteesa I Royal University.

Matches start as early as 11 a.m till late evening.

The national league is organized by the Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) in conjunction with Lido Beach management and Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA).
