
Vipers SC have appointed veteran tactician Eddie Butindo as the club’s Technical Development Manager (TDM).
Butindo was unveiled by the club president Lawrence Mulindwa on Friday at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
The former SC Villa coach who is mainly known as for his eye for young talent is delighted with the appointment and revealed his excitement at joining the club.
“I’m honoured with the opportunity of working with such a great institution that is focused and determined to take Ugandan football to the next level,” he said.
I will work to my best ability to make sure we push Vipers SC to new heights.
Club Patron Mulindwa was equally delighted with adding Butindo to his technical staff.
“We are proud to announce Mr. Eddie Butindo as the club technical development manager on a two year deal,” said Mulindwa. “His experience is unquestionable and therefore as Vipers SC we believe his appointment will yield a lot of fruits,” he said.
Mr. Butindo has been very successful especially with youth football and thus his expertise will help us in grooming players.
Butindo will head the technical staff; supervise all the teams including the junior sides.
Besides Coaching SC Villa, Butindo has also previously coached teams like Miracle FC and State House among others.
He is famously known for his great work with the Kampala Kids League that gave rise to several players.
