Kirinya-Jinja Secondary School Football Club seeks footballing justice over the four match touch line ban for their head coach Charles Ayiekoh and the one point docked by the FUFA Disciplinary committee.
The club has since lodged an official appeal to the committee, bitterly protesting the decisions.
The appeal reads in part;
Head coach Ayiekoh exercised fair play by shaking hands with Soana Football club players and officials and therefore dismiss allegations that he attacked the referees after the game.
Hannington Kalyesubula, the goalkeeping coach, was a registered official on the match day sheet.
Under normal circumstances, if he had attacked match officials as alleged, the referee would have sent him off the technical bench which he did not do and was never cautioned at all
Ayiekoh was banned for allegedly attacking match officials at the final whistle in the match between Kirinya Jinja SS and Soana at Bugembe accusing them of alleged biased Officiation.
Consequentially, this allegedly led into fans hurling stones at the match officials as they were entering the dressing room but were rescued by the Police.
The match referees’ report also indicated that goalkeeping coach Hannington Kalyesubula verbally attacked the match officials throughout the duration of the match.

Also, if the appeal lodged by Kirinya-Jinja S.S is rubbished, Ayiekoh will miss the two remaining matches in the first round including one against KCCA and the for first two games at the start of the second round.
Ayiekoh has since pleaded innocent and calls for thorough investigation into the matter;
I did not attack the referees because i respect my job and i have the ethics.
I normally control my temper. This is the right way that the FUFA Disciplinary panel should be handling such cases.
There is need for thorough investigation by the panel.
Earlier in the season, Bright Stars Coach Fred Kajoba was also penalized with a four match ban for verbal attack towards FIFA Referee Dennis Batte.
Relatedly, SC Villa manager Muhammad Jjumba and goalie Samson Kirya have also been slapped with bans and the Jogoos deducted two points.
Masavu Football Club was also a victim when their head coach Joseph Mutyaba was slapped with a 4 match ban for alleged verbal attacks towards the referees who handled the match Masavu lost 1-0 at Kavumba Recreational Stadium.
