Treble Group:

A total of 19 goals were scored on Sunday as the 2017-18 FUFA Juniors League returned with match day 10.

Nine of the goals were scored in the Treble group and the others for the Hat-Trick.

A lion’s share of these goals were scored by Onduparaka Junior Team during their comprehensive 5-0 victory against Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) in Arua.

Baptized as  Ondunyiri, the Onduparaka Juniors have maintained the impressive run in the Treble group with solid and convincing performances home and away.

Against URA, Salim Matata scored a hat-trick with the other goal coming from a one Eddie.

Meanwhile, Vipers Juniors Team won 3-0 against Proline at St Mary’s Kitende.

Police Arm-less Brigade overcame UPDF 2-0 as Mbarara City Junior side outwitted SC Villa 2-1 in Mbarara.

The Juniors league reigning champions Soana and Bright Stars played to a 2 all draw as the league finalists Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Soccer Academy were held to a one all draw by visiting BUL at the Lugogo stadium in Kampala.

Sadat Anaku, last season’s top scorer scored for KCCA Soccer Academy and Hillary Onek got the goal for BUL youngsters.

Express and Masavu played to a barren stalemate at Wankulukuku.

It is mandatory for each of the 16 clubs in the top flight league to have Junior sides.

Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) facilitates the transportation costs for each team and monthly remuneration of  head coaches for the respective teams.

Vipers Sports Club and Soana F.C junior teams won in 2015 and 2016 respectively.
