Ajax Queens and Uganda Christian University (UCU) Lady Cardinals managed identical 4-0 victories against Western United and new comers Isra Academy respectively as the 2017-18 FUFA Women Elite league continued.

There were a total of  six (6) games which produced ten (10) goals.

Four of the matches were out right victories whereas two of these ended in goal-less stalemates.

Ajax Queens needed strikes from Moureen Afoyo and Annet Namwenge who each scored twice at the Kabwohe play ground in Sheema District.

Similarly, UCU Lady Cardinals also defeated newly promoted Isra Academy 4-0 at the green lush of UCU main campus in Mukono.

Kenyan born goal scoring machine Moureen Kinavudori led the goal scoring business as usual with a well taken brace.

Former Kawempe Muslim S.S stars Hasifa Nassuna and Yudaya Nakayenze each added a goal apiece as the Mukono side ran rout.

Else where, Wakiso United narrowly edged Eastern Heroes 1-0 and Rines S.S out muscled Muteesa Royal University 1-0.

The league defending champions Kawempe Muslim S.S settled for a goal-less draws with Gafford Ladies at Kanyanya whilst the Uganda Martyrs – Kampala Queens tie also ended barren.

The FUFA Women Elite League will resume next weekend.
