The Uganda Premier League secretariat has announced adjustments in the league fixture with over six matches affected.

Three matches that were scheduled for Tuesday December 19 have been postponed to the following day and so have the December 22 fixtures which involve almost similar teams.

The change is due to the fact that the Uganda Cranes will return on Monday December 19 from the ongoing CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup.

“FUFA has confirmed Monday 18th December 2017 as the date Uganda Cranes will be returning from the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup 2017 tournament currently going on in Kenya…..” read part of the statement signed by UPL CEO Bernard Bainamani.

“Accordingly, the remaining fixtures for all clubs that have more than two players at CECAFA have been rescheduled as shown below; Match Day 14: Fixtures moved from Tuesday 19th December 2017 to Wednesday 20th December 2017;

  • M#113 Express FC Vs Vipers SC, Muteesa II Stadium-Wankulukuku, 4:00pm Live on Azam TV.

  • M#116 KCCA FC Vs Kirinya Jinja SSS FC, Star Times Stadium–Lugogo, 4:30pm.

  • M#119 SC Villa Vs Proline FC, Masaka Recreation Ground, 4:30pm.

Match–Day 15 Fixtures moved from Friday 22nd December 2017 to Saturday 23rdDecember 2017;

  • M#33 KCCA FC Vs Express FC, StarTimes Stadium-Lugogo, 4:00pm Live on Azam TV.

  • M#34 Kirinya Jinja SSS FC Vs SC Villa, Bugembe Stadium-Jinja, 4:00pm

  • M#38 Vipers SC Vs Proline FC, St. Mary’s Stadium-Kitende, 4:00pm

Nevertheless, other league matches will go on as per the original fixture.
