- Inter Clube 65-71 Sport Libolo e Benfica

Sport Libolo e Benfica edged the all Angola quarter final against Inter Clube in the FIBA Africa Champions Cup at Salle Multidisciplinaire de Radès on Tuesday.
Inter Club started the game with a 10-2 run but Divaldo Mbunga, Andres Harris and Olimpio Cipriano quickly wiped out the deficit.
There were several lead changes in the first quarter but on Milton Baross 3-pointer with 1:16 to play, Libolo went ahead and closed out the quarter leading 25-19.
Inter Clube kept their rivals at arms length in the second period and went ahead on Pedro Barros 3-pointer. However, the lead was short lived as Harris knocked down back-to-back jumpers to put Libolo back in the lead and from that point, they never trailed again.
Inter Club were held to 10 points in the third quarter and had to close out a 15 points deficit in the final ten minutes. They started the final quarter with a 9-0 run to come with in 6 points (57-63) with 5:58 but Jekel Foster’s and-one blew life into Libolo and remained locked in for the victory.
Harris scored team high 12 points to lead Libolo, Foster and Cipriano contributed 11 points apiece.
Pedro Barros had game high 16 points in a losing effort and so were Henry Uhwegu’s 14 and Miguale Kiala’s 11 points.
Semifinal and Classification
In the semifinal, Libolo will face off with AS Sale while in the classification game, Inter Clube will be up against Beira.
