In Preparation for the World Cricket League Division 4 tournament scheduled for 28th April to 5th May in Malaysia, Cricket Cranes will tour the middle east nation of Qatar and India.
The tour will be used as build up for the team as they seek a quick return to Division 3 later this year.
Uganda was relegated to Division 4 last year together with Malaysia after they finished 5th in the tournament hosted in Kampala.
Uganda will battle Denmark, Jersey, Bermuda, Vanuata and hosts Malaysia for the 2 slots for qualification.
Steve Tikolo has been putting the team through its paces in preparation for the main event in April and he will be hoping that his key players are available for the tour.
The tour will run from February 6-23 with the team going through Qatar before travelling to India.
A squad of over 16 players will be named soon as the selection committee is due to meet this weekend.
