Challengers brushed aside Africa Cricket Club (ACC) by 120 runs in the quarterfinal to remain one of the only 2 unbeaten sides in the T20 league.

Challengers were missing their T20 captain Ivan Thawithemwira who is out of the country because of work commitments but they managed to dominate ACC with the bat scoring a team high of 195 for 2 in 20 overs.

Opening batsman Arthur Kyobe has been in great form with the bat in the T20 tournament and he anchored his teams innings with a team high score of 79 supported by Anef Shah who got 39.

The mystery bowling of Irfan Afridi (3/22) and the the pace of David Wabwire (4/15) was too much for the ACC batsmen who folded for 111.

The win for Challengers means they stay on course to defend their title setting up a mouth watering clash with league winners Aziz Damani.

Challengers got the better of Damani in the group stages and the winner of this semifinal is favorite to winner the main title.
