- AFC Leopards (Kenya) 2-1 KCCA (Uganda)

Kenya Premier League side, AFC Leopards condemned KCCA Football Club to a 2-1 defeat at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Wednesday.
Kuria and Owit scored for the Kenyan side as second half substitute Herbert Achai got KCCA’s consolation.
On the opening quarter an hour of action, the visitors missed taking the lead when left footed gem Allan Okello missed target by close inches from the right wing.
Uganda U-23 left back Mustapha Kizza was moments later called upon to deny Marita on the quick break.
The Kasasiro manager Mike Mutebi pulled off youngster Filbert Obenchan for midfielder Isaac Kirabira in the 34th minute of the game as the home side took the slim 1-0 lead into the break.

With five minutes into the second half, Mutebi called for five changes. Steven Sserwadda paved way for Lawrence Bukenya, new signing Hassan Musana was replaced by the tried and tested Habib Kavuma as Herbert Achai came on for former St Mary’s Kitende utility player Salim Kyobe.
Okello once again missed from inside the area as KCCA stabilized in the quest for the much needed equalizer.

Jeffery Owit scored the second goal with two minutes left on the clock before Achai’s late consolation in the second minute of added time.
This was the second loss for the Ugandan side on Kenyan tour after falling 4-2 to Gor Mahia in their first friendly last week.
On Monday, the Ugandans won 1-0 against Tusker courtesy of Steven Sserwadda’s cleverly chipped ball over the advancing goalkeeper.
KCCA will summarize the tour with the final build up on Friday against Sam Ssimbwa’s Sofapaka.
The Ugandans are preparing for the start of the second round of the league and the Uganda Cup round of 64 stage.
KCCA will face regional side Mbarara Football Club at the Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara in their round of 64 Uganda Cup clash on 4th February 2018.
