It has been an open secret since last year but at the AGM held by Uganda Cricket, Chairman of the board Bashir Badu confirmed that current CEO Justine Ligyalingi will be leaving UCA in March 2018.
In his written message to the members of Uganda Cricket, Bashir Badu called upon members to give tribute a gentleman who has been at the helm of UCA through the good and difficult times.
Justine has been at the helm of Uganda Cricket since 2010 and he leaves behind an association ready for take off.
Prior to his appointment, Lgyalingi had served with the National Council of Sports for 13 years and his experience as an administrator has greatly improved the running of operations at Uganda Cricket.
The process to find his replacement is ongoing and the board is hoping to find someone who will replace him before he leaves to ensure a smooth change in the running of operations.
