As striker Daniel ‘Muzei’ Sserunkuma heads for ‘greener pastures’ at Vipers Sports Club, there is another Sserunkuma entity in Brunno that makes a grand arrival at the treasured Mutesa II Wankulukuku confines.
Gifted and ‘sweet’ left footer Brunno, a utility player joins the Red Eagles as a free agent.
“He (Brunno Sserunkuma) joined Express Football Club for a two year deal. He has been training well and ready to serve given his vast experience” his representative, Allan Mukasa attested to Kawowo Sports on the secondary transfer deadline day.
Brunno Sserunkuma had a successful stint in the Kenya Premier league where he featured prominently at Nairobi City Stars and Mombasa coastal side Bandari football clubs.
A resident at the lake side Kasenyi fishing village near Kasenyi off the shores of Lake Victoria, Sserunkuma is best remembered for his awesome display back in the days during the promotion of Aurum Roses football club before he trained at Express enroute to Kenya in 2012 where he has earned his bread and butter since.
The ability to play as a left back and attacker as well as a creative cum defensive midfielder will definitely give coach Shafik Bisaso and his coaching staff a zillion thoughts.
The elegant left footer has an enviable close ball control, an entity that can comfortably dribble, pass, inter-play with teammates, shield the ball, head and shoot in equal measure.
