The 2017/18 FUFA Big League second round kick off has been confirmed for Thursday, 15th February 2018 at various play grounds across the country.

According to the fixture released by the FUFA Competitions department, there will be a total of 11 matches to be played.

Five of these fall in the Rwenzori group and the six in the Elgon group.

Rwenzori leaders Kitara start away from home with a date against Kireka United at the Namboole outside play ground.

Similarily, Elgon group leaders Paidha Black Angels shall kick off the second round away from home against Busia Fisheries.

This will be Allan Kabonge Kivewala’s first game in charge of the West Nile club since switching allegiance from Lira United, a club he handled in the first round.

In the other matches, Kabale Sharp entertains Sun City at the Kabale Municipal Stadium, Kira United shall be home to Greater Masaka and Synergy will host Bumate at Masaka Recreational stadium.

Water is at home against Kansai Plascon at the Kyambogo West play ground.

In the Elgon group, Mbale based Kataka will host Kyetume  at the Nabini play ground, Bufumbo.

Lira based club Amuka Bright Stars will play against Bukedea at the Lira Town College Ground as Agape S.S shall play with Luwero based Ndejje University.

Kamuli Park who had a busy mid-season will host Lira United at the Kamuli play ground whilst Jinja Municipal Council (JMC) Hippos will face the Doves All Stars at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja.

Three clubs shall be promoted to the top flight by the close of business.
