With seven wins and no defeat in the previous nine meetings, Vipers will be in buoyant mood to extend record when they visit Soana at Kavumba Recreation Ground.

The Venoms impregnable record will however be greatly tested against a much changed Soana side that have a new tactician Alex Isabirye in the dugout.

Soana have added experience to their squad by signing Petit Wanok and Simon Okwi and will draw inspiration from the point earned at Kitende in the reverse fixture.

Nevertheless, 3rd placed Vipers can’t afford to waste a chance to move to same points as second placed KCCA and go into the game as favourites.

Jorge Da Costa is expected to unleash striker Daniel Sserunkuma who joined with six goals from Express FC but may not risk defender Halid Lwaliwa despite defender returning to the team from a long injury lay off.

Besides, the team has been in good form in the mid-season practice matches but must replicate form in the league.

Vipers have won all their previous visits to Soana since the team gained promotion to the top tier in 2013/14 and have never failed to find the back of the net in 9 league meetings.
