Vipers SC assistant captain Taddeo Lwanga wants side to build on the win against Onduparaka when they host Police in the round of 32 of the Uganda Cup.

The tie of the round is on at St. Mary’s Kitende on Saturday with Vipers seeking to end a two match winless run against the Cops.

“The team showed great character and personality on Tuesday against Onduparaka and that’s what we want to continue with in the games to come,” said Lwanga.  “We’re very excited and hopefully we can put in a good performance,” he added.

Police FC are a fantastic team and we are looking forward to the challenge.

We respect Police FC but we have plenty of belief. It will be tough on Saturday but hopefully we can get the job done.

Prior to this round, Police eliminated FUFA Big League side Greater Masaka 2-0 away while Vipers overcame Kasese based SC Bronken 3-1 in Kasese.
