Ugandan striker Francis Ronald Olaki scored the opening goal on the day as Extension Gunners shared the spoils  1 all with Uniao Flamengo (UF) Santos at the 6600 sitter Molepolole stadium on Sunday.

Olaki gave the visitors a first half lead and UF Santos replied through Jackie Mothatego’s last minutes gasp equalizer.

This was one of the matches on the day in the Botswana Premier league on match day 19.

Olaki, who later limped out of the match extends his personal goals tally to five, behind  Gaborone United’s duo of Tumisang Orebonye  12 goals), Thatayaone Kgamanyane (11), Miscellaneous’ Orebotse Mongae (10) and Police’s Kekaetswe Moloi (10).

Meanwhile, in the much anticipated Zola derby, Gaborone United lost 2-3 to Sharps Shooting Stars.

Thatayaone Kgamanyane, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe got the goals for Gaborone United.

Otlarongwa Nthumolang, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe (OG) and Refentse Mmelesi were on score sheet for Sharps Shooting Gunners.

Nthumolang was named man of the match.

The Gunners are 8th on the 16 table team standings (with 25 points, same as Police) as UF Santos sits second from bottom with just 11 points off 19 matches.

Meanwhile, midfielder Ivan ‘Kojja’ Ntege’s Township Rollers are destined for another trophy as champions.

After 18 games, Township Rollers lead with 43 points. Second placed Miscellaneous have played 19 games and have fetched 34 points.

Others are; Jwaneng Galaxy with 34 points from 17 games, Orapa United (32 points off 19 matches) and Gaborone United with 36 points from 18 games.

Extension Gunners will face 13th placed Security Systems in their next match on Saturday, 24th February 2018.
