The return of Vivian Adeke and Zaina Kagoya has boosted Vision Volleyball Camp’s preps for the 2018 African Women’s Club Championship due next month in Cairo, Egypt.

The two players were instrumental for VVC in the past with Kagoya immense during Namboole side’s run to eight titles back in 2015.

Receiver-attacker Adeke returns to the team with lots of experience and coach Hannington Nsubuga believes it brings balance to the team.

“I believe my side is balanced with the return of some experienced players and on top of the preparations that we have gone through, we will put up a formidable display this season locally and on the continent,” Nsubuga said as quoted by club website.

VVC will join other local clubs this weekend in the Joan Cox memorial tournament at Gayaza High School and both Kagoya and Adeke will be looking to impress ahead of his final team selection for the March 6-15 tournament.
