Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed at least five international friendly matches ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

According to the itinerary released by the football governing body in NFF, the friendlies start on March 23rd with an away engagement against Poland.
Four days later, Nigeria will face Serbia on 27th March in the United Kingdom.
On 25th May 2018, Super Eagles will play host the Democratic Republic of Congo in Nigeria.
England shall then host the Super Eagles on 2nd June 2018 before the final build up against Czech Republic in Austria.
There is a possibility that the Nigerian football body will add Zimbabwe to the itinerary.
Nigeria qualified from Group B in the Africa Zone qualifiers. They were in the same group as the reigning African champions Cameroon, giants Algeria and the Chipolopolo of Zambia.
Nigeria qualified with 14 points – won 4 and drew 2 of the six group games.
They are coached by German national, Gernot Rohr.
At the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Africa will be represented by Nigeria, Morocco, Egypt, Senegal and Tunisia.
Nigeria is pooled in Group D alongside Argentina, Croatia and Iceland.
