Former SC Villa employees Herman Wasswa, Paul Nkata and Paul Mbowa will be on the opposite end when the Jogoos host URA in a league game at Masaka Recreation Ground.

The two sides face off with the Jogoos targeting a return to winning ways after faltering in their previous three.

SC Villa have lost once and drawn the other in three league games and surrendered top spot to Vipers when they failed to beat KCCA and then Vipers won 1-0 at home to Mbarara City.

“It’s a game we need to win,” said Wasswa Bbosa. “The boys understand the importance of the game following a loss to KCCA and we shall do all we can,” he added.

Wasswa, the URA striker formerly at SC Villa has already promised not to celebrate in case he scores but says he will be eager to help his team pick all points.

Of course I will be eager to score and help my team (URA) win. But as usual, I don’t celebrate goals I score against SC Villa. They made what I am when I left Masaka LC and I respect that forever.

Besides Wasswa, URA will look to new signings De Boss Kalama, midfield gem Shafik Kagimu as well as winger Brian Majwega for inspiration.

SC Villa will hope strikers George Senkaaba and Ayub Bogere don their scoring boots like they did in the FUFA Drum games over the weekend.

The Jogoos lie second on the log with 33 points while URA are 8th with 23 points after 17 games.
