2018 Mascom Top 8 (Final):
- Orapa United FC 2-4 Township Rollers FC
Midfielder Ivan ‘Kojja’ Ntege won his first trophy since joining Township Rollers Football Club in Botswana.

Township Rollers lifted the 2018 Mascom Top 8 trophy after overcoming Orapa United 4-2 at Francistown Sports Complex on Saturday.
The Blues put up a dominant display and through goals from Lemponye Tshireletso, Edwin ‘Moluba’ Moalosi, Bogosi Nfila and Kaone Vanderwesthuizen took a 4-0 lead.
Tshireletso scored the opener after just 10 minutes into the game.
Moalosi added the second on the 20th minute mark as the Popa, as the team is famously known took a comfortable 2-0 lead into the break.
Bogosi found the third 11 minutes into the second half before the fourth came from Vanderwesthuizen.
Omaatla Kebatho and Gift Moyo pulled up two late strikes in the 71st and 82nd minutes respectively for the Ostriches to give the match a tense finish.
Despite the late scare it was a classic Popa performance as they lifted the trophy only for the second time since 2012.
Ntege was among the unused substitutes in the game as the club rested him in preparation for the uncoming CAF Champions League first round encounter away to Tanzania’s Young Africans in Dar es salaam.
Township Rollers face Yanga on Wednesday, 7th March 2018 at the National Stadium in Dar es salaam.
Ntege is also part of the traveling team to East Africa.
