The Rugby Sevens arrived at Victoria Falls Aiport at around midday on Thursday

The Uganda Rugby Cranes arrived safely in Zimbabwe ahead of the Victoria Falls sevens due Saturday and Sunday.

The team departed at around 3am on Thursday morning from Entebbe International Airport aboard Kenya Airways and arrived in Zimbabwe at midday.

The side has been grouped in Pool A and will face Zambia A, Goshawks, Zambezi Steelers and Spartans.

Cranes traveled without Phillip Wokorach and Pius Ogena who will feature for Kabras Sugar in the Kenya Cup final against defending champions KCB.

Uganda will use the tournament to prepare for the upcoming Hong Kong 7s where they will be seeking to qualify for the HSBC World Sevens Series.

The event is also set to tune up the team ahead of the Commonwealth Games Sevens set for April in Gold Coast, Australia.
