Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) Secretary General, Amr Fahmy is set to visit Uganda this Sunday.

Fahmy and his deputy, Anthony Baffoe will arrive in Uganda on Sunday, 25th March 2018.
Former Ghana international Baffoe is also the director of Development and Competitions at CAF.
The duo are expected to preside over the official ground breaking ceremony of a new beach soccer facility in Entebbe and later watch a national beach soccer league match at Lido Beach in Entebbe.
They will then hold a meeting with the FUFA officials at Protea Hotel in Entebbe as part of the CAF Committee for Development of Futsal and beach soccer.

FUFA and Uganda will host a CAF Committee meeting on Futsal and beach soccer at Protea Hotel on Monday
The Committee for Development of Futsal and Beach soccer is headed by Moses Magogo
The CAF Team will watch a Futsal match at the International Futsal Arena in Mengo on Monday
This will be the first time that Uganda will host a meeting aimed at developing the games of Futsal and beach soccer.
The One day meeting will have dignitaries from 18 countries including Uganda as the hosts.
Leodegar Tenga, the Vice President of the committee and a former President of the Tanzanian Football Association will also attend the meeting.
The key aspect expected to be discussed at the meeting will be development of Futsal and Beach soccer in Africa.
The meeting is expected to start at 9am and after a ground breaking ceremony at a beach soccer facility in Entebbe.
The committee will thereafter pay a visit to the FUFA headquarters.
Recently, the CAF President Ahmad Ahamd visited Rwanda on a three day visit.

Amr Fahmy, 34, is a passionate football lover. He took part in the FIFA Master program in Management, Law and Humanities of Sport, where he undertook courses on the campuses of the Universities of Neuchâtel in Switzerland, Bocconi in Italy and De Montfort in the United Kingdom.
Fahmy’s grandfather Mourad served as general secretary of African football’s governing body from 1961-82.
Currently serving with France-based Lagardère Sports as Director of Operations for Africa, Fahmy previously worked with the CAF Competitions Division between 2007 and 2015.
Prior to his departure in August 2015, he was the Tournament Director for the flagship competition, Africa Cup of Nations.
