UPDF missed an opportunity to pull clear of the relegation zone following a barren draw with Maroons at Bombo.

The army side came into the game with a chance to open a five point gap between them and the relegation bound Express who weren’t in action on the day.

Steven Bogere’s charges have now failed to pick maximum points in three successive games despite a wonderful start that saw them bag 10 out of a possible 12 points at the start of the second round.

The draw leaves the army side 13th on the log with 22 points, three better than Express and Proline while Maroons are 6th with 31 points after 22 games.
