Mbabazi was suspended by the coach over suspect results and consequently missed the club’s goal-less stalemate with UPDF at Bombo.

Left footed winger Viane Ssekajugo scored two early goals inside the opening 20 minutes before another late strike from prodigal son Samson Ceasar Okhuti crowned the victory before hundreds of fans.

Ssekajugo struck his first after just three minutes into the game with a powerful rebound after goalkeeper Mansoor Mutumba, formerly at Express had spilled the initial shot.

The opening goal came against the run of play following an earlier miss from January 2018 signing and former league winner, Patrick Senfuka.

The second goal arrived 16 minutes later when industrious right back Aggrey Kirya combined with Okhuti to set up Ssekajugo before the former The Saints and Jinja Municipal Council Hippos wide man made no mistake to finish off the move.

The Masavu technical bench led by Joseph Mutyaba, in consultation with his co-coach Alex Gitta pressed a panic button, replacing orthodox left back Sande Mukiibi for former URA player James Kasibante four minutes to the mandatory half time break.

Okhuti sealed the victory 14 minutes into the second stanza of the game after good inter-play involving Kirya again.

Two Masavu players Benjamin Nyakoojo and Moses Kiggundu were cautioned by referee Joseph Ochom in the 58th and 84th minutes respectively for unsporting behaviour.

Onduparaka ensured their 9th victory of the season, improving to 5th with 33 points off 22 games played.

Meanwhile, Masavu endured to yet another heart breaking loss, 11th out of the 22 matches honored and remains glued at the bottom of the 16 team log with 19 points, same as Express and Proline.
