Uganda Cranes midfielder Allan ‘Dancing Rasta’ Kateregga is delighted having made his long awaited debut at South African PSL outfit, Cape Town City Football Club.

The former Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) and AFC Leopards exciting midfielder was introduced at the onset of the second half when Cape Town City bowed out to Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1 in the quarter finals of the Nedbank cup.
Kateregga later tweeted after the game;
Am glad and humbled for the love and support from everyone.
A good feeling to make my debut for Cape Town City FC.
Kateregga had been sidelined by a hip injury for a long spell. Upon recovery, he was declared match fit and started on the bench.
Injury to Sibusiso Masina granted Kateregga his long awaited debut as the second half kicked off.
Mixed Feelings for the day’s result:
Kateregga was left disappointed, however, by the day’s final score.
He added;
Too bad we didn’t give the fans the joy they deserved but we promise to do much better in the coming games
Percy Tau gave the visitors the lead on 53 minutes after a decent counter attack with the assist coming from Zimbabwean play maker Khama Billiat.
Eight minutes later, Hlompho Kekana doubled the lead for Mamelodi Sundowns.
Cape Town City pulled a goal back through Bradley Ralani who beat Uganda Cranes goalkeeper and captain Dennis Onyango with a heavy deflection in the 68th minute.
Cape Town City will host Golden Arrows on Wednesday, 4th April 2018 at the Cape Town City Stadium in the ABSA Premiership, a match Kateregga expects to get more playing time.
