Fred Amaku and Anthony Mayanja scored a goal in each half to pile more pressure on relegation threatened Express as Kirinya won 2-0 at Kyabazinga stadium, Bugembe.

In a game dominated by the hosts from start to finish, Amaku put the hosts in the lead after just thirteen minutes and the game ended 1-0 in favour of Charles Ayiekoh’s side at the break.

The second half was no different from the first as Kirinya piled pressure on the Red Eagles and it paid off in the 79th minute with Mayanja doubling the lead.

The hosts only mishap was the number of yellow cards (four) received on the day but they maintain their 4th place with 37 points with seven games to end the season.

Express FC, the six time league champions stay second from bottom with 19 points.
